The Wonton noodle soup and squid were authentic Hong Kong style. And Congee was delicious.
Always busy the day before Chinese New Year. Get there early before they run out of roast and barbecue pork.
The Best fried rice in Maryland, and the workers are always so nice
Food is amazing. Our waitress was sweet and quick
Food was goo
If you're looking for genuine out of Hong Kong food, go to Paul Kee Restaurant. Delicious food. That's my place for Cantonese cuisine.
Great Cantonese/ Chinese style food
Great food and all the servers are really nice
I used to go as a kid. I came back recently and nothing changed. Great food, nice people, and great environment. I recommend the duck
The service is great and friendly. BBQ dishes are delicious, but the salt and pepper shrimp, sauteed flounder is where the money is.
The food is good. They also have Crispy Skin Roast Pork, roast Pork, and Roast Duck. All of which is pretty darn good. For this area, give them a try I think you will be surprised.
Awesome food and very convenient, they get extra points just for being the only place open as late as they are every single day. I want to thank this restaurant for giving quality food at late hours!
Like the crispy pork, has really crispy skin. However, it's too salty. Everything else is with decent Cantonese standard. But everything seems too oily.
Very good food and service! You have to try the little deep fried fish, they're not on the menu and idk what they're called but your server will probably know what they are! They are the best!!
Among the very best Chinese available in Wheaton. Some exotic dishes available on the 'pink' menu. Well spiced. Not too sugary. We eat there 2 dozen times a year.
Great selection of authentic Chinese food. Going in from the back is not recommended unless you have to for parking reasons. The smell back there is rank. The wait staff can be a little short but all of this is made up for by the excellent food. If the food ever gets worse, this place would be a low three star restaurant.
The food and service is decent. I ordered Beef Chow Foon dry, steamed chicken with soy sauce and spicy bean curd. Food came quite fast. Would not say it's the cleanest place in the world. Parking is kind of hard.
I've been this restaurant for 5+ times. It was good the first 2 times. After few more visit, I decided to not come here anymore. I was disappointed in the quality of the customer service and food. The waiter came take order with full mouth of food. It was disturbing to see the rice chewing in his mouth while he talked. And we always get the roast duck and crispy pork because it was good. However, we got really old ones ( which is not crispy and tasted stale). The place has came from I will take my friend to I don't want to come myself anymore. It really has good potential but it's like playing lottery to eat here. And mostly you don't win.
Good Chinese food! Including various noodle soup.
Good Cantonese food
Possibly the best roast pork in the area but other foods are in a steep decline. The duck had a sour taste, the crispy roast pork was full of large bones, and the service was rather indifferent. Despite other restaurants being full on a Friday night, this place was a ghost town. This will be our last time here. Go to Full Key instead
I've been coming here for many years and always liked the food. Make sure you go during the day.....at night the bar next door is so loud, it shakes the walls ...not enjoyable!!
Good chinese food.
Stinky. Unpleasant. No atmosphere. Stopped going 2 years ago.
If you want to eat to an authentic chinese cooking Paul Kee is one of our familys favorite chinese restaurant. They got variety of good chinese food. Its delicious and tasty.i recommend this place if you like chinese food.
Arrived at restaurant around 10:30 on Christmas. We looked up closing hours (closing at 11:30) before we drove 30 mins from Columbia. Upon entering Waiter asked us how many but a man sitting at one of the tables eating (I guess the manager) told us that they had run out of food. We definitely felt that if we had been of same culture we would have been accommodated. Will not return or recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Food is disgusting, the place smells gross, and The restroom reeks like sewage vomit.
When I first went there it was a warming welcome place ! When you sat there they will attend you quickly ! And the people there are very kind❤️ and the food there is very yummy ❤️❤️👍
Atmosphere was non existent. Bright lights, no music or candles. Several employees standing near the restroom hallway were talking and laughing loudly speaking what must have been Chinese language.Food was just okay. Parts of the meal were not good at all. We had to ask for condiments usually served with the meal.Service was somewhat rude and inattentive. However when we paid with cash, the server thumbed through the bills, expressing the tip was too small. Sorry we don't give a big tip for a very bad experience. Not to mention there was someone different whenever we motioned for someone to service our table. I heard this place has been around for a long time so we were hoping for a really good experience but very disappointed instead. I don't understand how this place was still in business. However, there was a staircase off the back staircase, maybe there was some atmosphere up there.
Good food but dirty place, the woman in front who handles the roasted pig and duck is not wearing gloves when she touches the food so you don't wanna think how they handle your food at the kitchen
Has reputation of being very good and authentic, but found it was not really compatible with tastes based on "typical" Chinese restaurants, so family felt everything tasted "off" or "weird" but not "better". Am sure it is more a reflection of us than the restaurant, but wasn't particularly enjoyable for us.
My man and I have been customers for about a year and a half and have enjoyed the food they serve. Yet today I went to pick up my order and saw a large cockroach sitting on one of their menus on the counter right next to their kitchen! I brought it to the attention of one of the guys working there and he said "whats that" and grabbed it with a towel, threw it away and came back and went to process my payment! I felt so sick to my stomach that I of course refused to pay or take the food and left!!! I will never be returning again! There are plenty of other restaurants in the area, I would strongly suggest you go to another!
We arrive at 10pm. Understand its a little late but they should be able to serve decent food. We ordered roasted duck and roasted pork - came out cold. We asked them to warm it up, they microwaved it because it got soggy after they brought it out. Never come back here again.
1. Service - Quick, friendly, & attentive.2. Taste of food and quality of food - Great place for Cantonese food. Portion size was just enough & not too salty.3. Ambiance/decor - Cozy. Not too noisy when busy.4. Cleanliness - Looked & felt clean throughout.
Paul Kee is an underrated hidden asian gem of a restaurant in the MD area. Authentic chinese dishes just like the hawkers sell - at an affordable price! The crispy pork and crispy duck (breaded duck meat in sweet and sour sauce) are truly worth a try. Always get the fried rice and splash it with a bit of chili sauce.
Very very very bad food lobster and beef no tastes in food very very very
Great food for the price!
good to try
The food was not very seasoned but still tasted fine. Portions were huge so that's a plus. Service was ok but my wife complained about the sanitary factor of a waitress sneezing into her hand and not being in the bathroom long enough to properly wash up. If you like shrimp toast (which I really do) this was one of the few that has it, and it is very good.
One of my favorite Chinese restaurant of all time. The place been around since I was a kid and I am in my 30s now. It says a lot about a place that's been open for so long. You can get traditional dish like lobster, fish, and odd ball stuff that you cannot get at a carrier out Chinese restaurant. You can also purchased a whole roasted pig, chicken, or duck for an event. The popular dishes: seafood pan fried noodles, deep fried spicy pork chops, roast pig, lobster cooked ginger and scallion style, black bean clams, black pepper steak, salt and pepper shirmp or squid, and fish cooked your style. Dishes to avoid. Fried rice (they use old rice) General tso chicken.Odd ball dishes to try.Sour cabbage and intestines, egg plant, sea bass.
I was disappointed in the quality of the customer service. My friend was celebrating her birthday & order a duck. The duck was cold & when she returned it, she was told the microwave wasn't working. They gave her 1/2 price for the duck. Not to my satisfaction. My other friend ordered combination fried rice. She complained of not being able to taste anything but rice. She didn't return it or ask for something else to replace or order. I ordered shrimp in black bean sauce. It was tasty but, I had to order vegetables separately. My food is fresh & good, but, wasn't satisfied OVERALL on how the staff rushed us out after we were done eating. Hopefully they will do better to serve their customers, the potential for good food & service is there.
Food is delicious but customer service is bad no softness on talking
Love the food here. Glad they remodeled years ago. You can't go wrong with their fish, lo mein, fried shrimp, aboloni mushrooms , Chinese watercrest, sweet and sour fried pork. Service is great and food comes out fresh
The best chinese I have ever had. I have yet to find a dish I dont like.
Interesting place. Food is great. Beef is over cooked. But they blast the karaoke next door. I mean it’s blatant and loud.
We've been eating here for over 2 decades. One of our favorite Chinese restaurants. Parking lot is small and floors can be slippery but the food makes up for the negatives.
Very good food, mainly Cantonese dishes. Decent service. The decor is basic, typical no frills Chinese restaurant.
Best Chinese food around.Hong Kong style cuisine.Very loud on weekends late due the club next door.Order carryout every time.
My favorite Chinese restaurant. Best crispy beef. Never had a bad experience with anything on their menu.
Very good food. Don't forget to look at the small pink menu on the table, food on it is great! If you want the triple delight it's better if you get with rice instead of the noodle soup.
